Monday — how to get to each area
Eiffel host warning: the host meeting address is not printed in this public itinerary. Anthony should open the private voucher and paste its exact meeting address into Google Maps or Uber—do not use “Eiffel Tower” as a substitute.
Tuesday — how to get to each area
Hotel and venue addresses: where the exact hotel, Heritage Place or jam-session address is missing, the route button uses your current location or opens the destination area. Enter the complete address before requesting a ride.
Wednesday — how to get to each area
Wednesday walking rule: Changing the Guard is at Buckingham Palace; Horse Guards is a separate mounted-sentries stop. Use an indoor British Museum restaurant for the least walking. Between major attractions, use Uber unless the live map confirms the route is comfortable.
Monday, July 27 — Self-guided Paris, Eiffel Tower & Seine
Uber + short walks + selected Métro · protect the Eiffel buffer
Uber to Montmartre
In Uber, enter 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, 75018 Paris. This avoids the long front stairway and places you beside the upper Montmartre streets.
Protected allowance: the live Uber ride estimate plus 10–15 minutes for pickup, loading and the final curbside approach. The hotel address is not specified, so a responsible fixed driving time cannot be stated.
- Carry a small daypack only; keep it in front in crowded places.
- Bring the Eiffel voucher, identification, phone, power bank, medication, water, and a light layer.
- Leave the iPad, laptop, bulky backpack, and unnecessary valuables at the hotel.
Montmartre & Sacré-Cœur
Planned stop: 45 minutes. Keep the stop compact and remain on the upper Montmartre streets.
- 15–20 min: basilica interior.
- 10 min: terrace view and photographs.
- 5–10 min: a quick look toward Place du Tertre.
- Remaining time: restroom or return to the Uber pickup point.
Do not attempt a sit-down breakfast or lunch here. Avoid the long stairway. Use 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, 75018 Paris as the Uber destination. This places you close to Place du Tertre and within a short walk of Sacré-Cœur. The streets are cobbled and may be crowded, so walk slowly and avoid wandering downhill toward Pigalle or Moulin Rouge.
Montmartre: exact steps to follow
- Uber drop-off: 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, 75018 Paris.
- Before leaving the car, confirm the pickup point and save it in Uber.
- At the junction beside number 1, turn onto Rue du Mont-Cenis toward Place du Tertre. Do not take the downhill branch.
- At Rue Norvins / Place Jean-Marais, bear left into Place du Tertre. Take the quick square view.
- Leave the east side of the square beside Saint-Pierre de Montmartre and follow Rue Saint-Éleuthère.
- Turn left onto Rue Azaïs. Follow it along the upper edge of the park until it opens onto the Sacré-Cœur forecourt.
- Stay on the upper terrace. Do not descend the broad front staircase or Rue Foyatier.
- Enter the basilica if the line appears to be moving normally. Allow about 15–20 minutes inside.
- Exit to the terrace for photographs and the Paris view. Allow about 5–10 minutes.
- Spend no more than 5–10 minutes around Place du Tertre.
- Return by the same route: Rue Azaïs → Rue Saint-Éleuthère → Place du Tertre → Rue du Mont-Cenis → 1 Rue Saint-Rustique.
- Request the next Uber only after you are back at 1 Rue Saint-Rustique.
Skip rule: if the Sacré-Cœur line looks longer than about 20 minutes, see the exterior and terrace, then return to the pickup point. Do not risk the rest of the day.
Stop 2 — Uber from Montmartre to Palais Garnier
- At 1:10 p.m., after returning to 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, enter Palais Garnier, Place de l’Opéra, 75009 Paris in Uber.
- Use the closest permitted drop-off on Place de l’Opéra.
- Photograph the main façade from the square. Do not enter; an interior visit would take too long.
- Leave Place de l’Opéra by about 1:45 p.m.
Traffic assumption: moderate to heavy central-Paris traffic. If Uber predicts arrival after 1:45 p.m., shorten the Opéra stop to the photograph and bathroom only.
Stop 2 live checkpoints — follow these in order
- 2A · 1:10 p.m. — Leave Montmartre: stand at 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, enter Palais Garnier, Place de l’Opéra, 75009 Paris in Uber, confirm the destination pin, and ride directly there. Allow 5–10 minutes for pickup + 15–25 minutes driving + 5 minutes for drop-off.
- 2B · About 1:35 p.m. — Opéra photograph: get out on Place de l’Opéra. If the main façade is across the road, use only the marked pedestrian crossing. Walk onto the broad area facing the gold-and-stone façade, take photographs, then return to the same side of Place de l’Opéra. Request the next Uber by 1:45 p.m.
- 2C · 1:45 p.m. — Uber to the Louvre: enter Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Place du Carrousel, 75001 Paris. Skip Place Vendôme. Allow 5–10 minutes pickup + 10–18 minutes driving + 3–5 minutes drop-off.
- 2D · About 2:00 p.m. — Louvre walking checkpoint: at the small Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, face the long Louvre palace; pass through or beside the arch; continue straight into Cour Napoléon; photograph the glass Pyramid; then retrace the same path to Place du Carrousel. Request Uber by 2:15 p.m.
- 2E · 2:15 p.m. — Uber to Concorde: enter Hôtel de la Marine, 2 Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris. At arrival, remain on the north side and view the obelisk from there. Allow 5–10 minutes pickup + 8–15 minutes driving + 3 minutes drop-off.
- 2F · By 2:30 p.m. — Enter Concorde Métro: cross only at marked signals to the northeast corner where Rue Royale meets Rue de Rivoli. Enter Concorde Métro Access 6 — Rue Royale, near 149 Rue de Rivoli.
- 2G · Métro to the Arc: follow M1 / Line 1, direction La Défense. Allow 5–8 minutes to reach the platform + 8–10 minutes on the train + 5–10 minutes to reach street level. Ride 4 stops: Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau, Franklin D. Roosevelt, George V, then Charles de Gaulle–Étoile. Follow Sortie 1 — Champs-Élysées. At street level, photograph the Arc from the pavement; never cross the roundabout traffic.
- 2H · By 2:55 p.m. — Uber to Eiffel host: move to a safe pickup point on the Champs-Élysées side and enter the exact meeting address on the private voucher. Allow 5–10 minutes pickup + 12–22 minutes driving + 5 minutes for the final approach. Do not enter only “Eiffel Tower.” Target arrival: 3:20–3:30 p.m.
Late rule: if you have not entered Concorde station by 2:30 p.m., skip the Arc and request Uber directly to the exact Eiffel host meeting address.
Uber directly from Palais Garnier to the Louvre Pyramid
- At about 1:45 p.m., enter Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Place du Carrousel, 75001 Paris in Uber.
- At the small triumphal arch, face east toward the long Louvre palace.
- Pass through or immediately beside the arch and continue straight into Cour Napoléon.
- The glass Louvre Pyramid will be directly ahead. Take photographs; do not join an entrance queue.
- Return by the same route to Place du Carrousel and request the next Uber by about 2:15 p.m.
Traffic assumption: moderate congestion and possible curb delays around the Opéra and Louvre. If the app predicts arrival after 2:05 p.m., make the Pyramid photograph a strict 10-minute out-and-back stop.
Uber to Concorde, then take Métro Line 1 to the Arc
- Enter Hôtel de la Marine, 2 Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris in Uber. This places you on the north side near Rue Royale.
- Take the quick obelisk view from the north side. Cross roads only at marked pedestrian signals.
- Walk to the northeast corner where Rue Royale meets Rue de Rivoli.
- Enter Concorde Métro — Access 6, Rue Royale, marked by the Métro sign near 149 Rue de Rivoli.
- Follow signs for M1 / Line 1, direction La Défense (Grande Arche). Do not board toward Château de Vincennes.
- Ride exactly 4 stops: Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau, Franklin D. Roosevelt, George V, then Charles de Gaulle–Étoile.
- At Charles de Gaulle–Étoile, follow Sortie 1 — Champs-Élysées.
- At street level, take a quick Arc de Triomphe photograph across the roundabout. Never cross the traffic lanes. Skip the rooftop and remain on the pavement.
Traffic assumption: moderate congestion beside the Louvre and Concorde. The train ride is short, but station corridors and waiting can take longer than the four-stop ride itself.
Uber directly from the Arc to the Eiffel host meeting point
- By about 2:55 p.m., move to a safe pickup point on the Champs-Élysées side.
- Enter the exact Eiffel host meeting address printed on the private voucher. Do not enter only “Eiffel Tower.”
- Use Uber for this transfer; do not take Line 6 or detour to Trocadéro.
- Target arrival at the host meeting point: 3:20–3:30 p.m.
Traffic assumption: moderate to heavy around Étoile, the Champs-Élysées and Eiffel security zones. The total includes time to reach a legal pickup point and locate the off-site host address.
Hard cutoff: if you have not entered Concorde station by 2:30 p.m., skip the Arc and request Uber directly to the Eiffel host meeting point.
Arrive at the Eiffel Tower host meeting point
Be physically present by approximately 3:20–3:30 p.m., unless the voucher specifies an earlier arrival. There is no planned seated lunch before the appointment; buy a quick takeaway only if the host confirms there is enough time. Reserved access avoids the ticket-purchase line but does not eliminate mandatory security checks or elevator queues.
- No large luggage; the tower has no left-luggage facility.
- Your compact backpack will be screened.
- Summit access can be temporarily restricted by weather or operations.
Eiffel Tower summit by lift
Use elevators throughout. Visit the second floor, continue to the summit, enjoy the observation areas, and descend by lift.
Expected finish: approximately 6:45–7:15 p.m., depending on security and elevator waits.
Dinner near the Eiffel Tower
Remain in the Eiffel/Quai Branly area. Allow approximately 75–90 minutes. Enter the restaurant’s complete street address in Uber; do not cross Paris for dinner.
Protected transfer allowance: the live ride estimate plus 10–15 minutes for the restricted Eiffel pickup area and restaurant drop-off.
Seine sightseeing cruise — Bateaux Parisiens
Recommended boarding window: 9:00–9:30 p.m. Depart from Port de la Bourdonnais at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The cruise lasts approximately 1 hour and includes audio commentary.
Enter Bateaux Parisiens, Port de la Bourdonnais, 75007 Paris in Uber and select the closest permitted drop-off. Because the dinner address is not yet specified, this plan does not assume a walking route to the pier.
Protected door-to-door allowance: 15–27 minutes if dinner remains nearby, plus the separate 20–30-minute boarding buffer. Use the live app estimate if the restaurant is farther away.
Uber back to hotel
Evening allowance: the live ride estimate plus 10–15 minutes. Crowds leaving the boats and Eiffel area can lengthen pickup time; request the car from the legal pickup point shown in Uber.
- Pack completely for Tuesday.
- Charge phones and power banks.
- Place passports and Eurostar documents together.
- Confirm that the hotel will hold luggage after checkout.
Tuesday, July 28 — Black Paris, Eurostar & Camden
Start at 11:30 a.m. · museum restored · Eurostar at 6:12 p.m.
Black Paris: Château Rouge, Goutte d’Or and African collections
This is a tightly timed, vehicle-first cultural route with a compact neighborhood walk, takeaway-style lunch and a focused museum visit. Be fully packed, checked out and ready at the hotel before the 11:30 a.m. departure. Leave all suitcases with the hotel and carry only a small daypack or handbag.
Uber to Little Africa / Goutte d’Or
Enter Marché Dejean, Rue Dejean, 75018 Paris. Ask for the closest legal drop-off to Rue Dejean. Allow the live driving estimate plus 10–15 minutes for pickup and the final curb approach.
Late rule: if Uber predicts arrival after 12:20 p.m., spend no more than 15 minutes in the neighborhood, buy takeaway food and request the museum Uber by 12:50 p.m.
Compact Goutte d’Or walking loop
- Begin on Rue Dejean. Spend about five minutes viewing the West African food market, spice shops and nearby storefronts.
- At the west end of Rue Dejean, turn right onto Rue des Poissonniers.
- Walk north for about 3–4 minutes, crossing Rue Poulet, until Rue Doudeauville.
- Turn right onto Rue Doudeauville. Spend about five minutes viewing the wax-fabric and fashion shops. Remain on the main shopping street.
- Continue east for about five minutes until Boulevard Barbès.
- Turn right on Boulevard Barbès and walk south about five minutes toward Château Rouge Métro.
- Stop near the station entrance and buy food to take away. Do not enter the Métro for this itinerary.
Mobility rule: each walking leg is approximately five minutes or less. If the streets feel too crowded or the walk becomes uncomfortable, stop at a visible storefront and request Uber to the next destination.
Takeaway African lunch near Château Rouge
Choose an open Senegalese, Ivorian, Cameroonian or Congolese counter immediately around Château Rouge, Rue Poulet or Boulevard Barbès. Order food to take away rather than beginning a sit-down meal.
Hard finish: open Uber by 12:45 p.m. and request the museum ride no later than 12:50 p.m..
Uber to Musée du quai Branly–Jacques Chirac
Enter 222 rue de l’Université, 75007 Paris. This is the museum’s recommended reduced-mobility entrance and has a lift. Eat the takeaway food only when safely seated and permitted; do not take food into the galleries.
Late rule: if the app predicts arrival after 1:45 p.m., keep the museum visit to 30 minutes and still leave by 2:15 p.m.
Focused African collections visit
Ask staff for the quickest lift route to the principal African collections and any current Nigeria-related presentation. Focus on West and Central African sculpture, masks, textiles and Nigeria-related material.
- Do not enter a new gallery after 2:00 p.m.
- Open Uber at 2:05 p.m. and enter the hotel’s complete address.
- Return to the 222 rue de l’Université pickup point and leave by 2:15 p.m.
Uber directly back to the hotel
Enter the hotel’s complete street address, not only its name. Use the live Uber arrival time as the authority.
Absolute rule: if Uber predicts arrival after 3:10 p.m., leave the museum immediately and ask staff for the closest licensed-taxi pickup.
Hotel turnaround
Collect luggage, use the restroom and confirm the 6:12 p.m. Eurostar. Open Uber by 3:30 p.m., request the car at 3:35–3:40 p.m. and leave the hotel no later than 3:50 p.m.
Evening train and return to London
The schedule below begins after the approximately 2:45–3:05 p.m. hotel return.
Uber to Paris Gare du Nord — Eurostar departures
Request the car at 3:35–3:40 p.m. Enter Paris Gare du Nord, 18 rue de Dunkerque, 75010 Paris and select the Eurostar departures area. Leave the hotel no later than 3:50 p.m. and target station arrival at 4:30–4:45 p.m.
Traffic assumption: moderate to heavy cross-city traffic. The protected total includes 5–10 minutes to unload and reach the Eurostar signs inside the station.
Do not leave the station once you arrive. Purchase food inside after security if time allows.
Eurostar to London
The updated working plan uses the 6:12 p.m. Paris departure and an estimated arrival around 7:30–7:35 p.m. London time. Use the final ticket for the exact arrival, coach, seat and gate deadline.
Arrive at London St Pancras and Uber to Heritage Place
- After leaving the Eurostar platform, enter the main St Pancras concourse.
- Remain on the station level and follow signs for Pancras Road / car pick-up.
- Exit onto Pancras Road and walk to the signed car pickup/set-down area.
- Only then request Uber using Heritage Place’s complete address.
Protected allowance: the live ride estimate plus 15 minutes for walking to the pickup area, matching the car and loading luggage. Target Heritage Place around 8:15–8:30 p.m.; a fixed drive time cannot be estimated without its complete address.
Optional late arrival at the Camden jam session
Confirm that the session is still running before leaving Heritage Place. Enter the venue’s full name and street address—not simply “Camden.” Food, drinks, and transportation are additional.
Check Uber 10–15 minutes before leaving and use a well-lit main-road pickup point. Allow the live ride estimate plus 10–15 minutes; a fixed drive time requires the complete Heritage Place and venue addresses.
Wednesday, July 29 — Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards, British Museum, National Gallery & London Eye
Buckingham Palace by 10:00 · Changing the Guard at 11:00 · mounted guards at Horse Guards afterward · London Eye at 6:00
Breakfast, daypack and Buckingham Palace traffic check
Finish breakfast and carry identification, phone, power bank, medication, water and a light layer. Enter Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA in Uber and review the live arrival time.
Because the complete Heritage Place address is not printed here, use the live Uber estimate to choose a departure that reaches the palace area by 9:45–9:55 a.m.
Request Uber to Buckingham Palace
- Enter Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA.
- Choose a ride whose live arrival reaches the area before 10:00 a.m.
- Message the driver: “Please use the closest legal drop-off to the Buckingham Palace front gates.”
- Add 10–15 minutes to the live driving estimate for matching the car, loading and the final curb approach.
- Road closures are possible. If the driver must stop farther away, follow the live walking route toward the Queen Victoria Memorial and palace railings.
Buckingham Palace arrival and viewing-area approach
- After the Uber drop-off, open the Buckingham Palace map and walk toward the Queen Victoria Memorial and the palace front railings.
- Remain on public pedestrian routes and avoid crossing any controlled ceremonial area.
- Follow police and steward instructions to an open public viewing position. Crowd controls may change the exact approach.
- Be settled in the viewing area no later than 10:00 a.m.
Buckingham Palace — be present for Changing the Guard
Remain in the approved public viewing area. Follow instructions from police, military personnel and event stewards. Do not leave for another attraction or begin lunch.
- The Old Guard contingent normally leaves St James’s Palace at approximately 10:43 a.m.
- The New Guard normally leaves Wellington Barracks at approximately 10:57 a.m.
- Operational or weather changes can alter the ceremony without notice.
Final positioning at Buckingham Palace
Keep the palace gates, pedestrian crossings and troop routes clear. The St James’s Palace contingent and the New Guard approach Buckingham Palace before the 11:00 a.m. ceremony.
Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace
The New Guard enters the Buckingham Palace forecourt at approximately 11:00 a.m. for the formal handover. The Old Guard normally leaves at about 11:40 a.m., followed by the St James’s Palace Guard at about 11:45 a.m.
Exit timing: wait for police direction and let the densest crowd begin clearing before moving toward the Uber pickup point.
Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards — Uber
- Wait until police permit the crowd to leave safely.
- Enter Horse Guards, Whitehall, London SW1A 2AX in Uber.
- Ask for the closest legal drop-off to the mounted sentries on the Whitehall side.
- Add 10–15 minutes to the live estimate for pickup, ceremony traffic and the final curb approach.
- If the pickup area is congested, follow police directions to the nearest legal curb and update the pin.
Mounted sentries at Horse Guards
See and photograph the mounted sentries from the public area. Do not touch a horse or stand directly behind one, and follow all instructions from police and military personnel.
Leave by 12:35 p.m. This is a short photo stop so lunch and the museum remain protected.
Horse Guards to the British Museum — Uber
- Enter The British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG in Uber.
- Ask for the closest legal drop-off to the Great Russell Street entrance and nearby lunch locations.
- Add 10–15 minutes to the live estimate for pickup, central-London traffic and curb access.
- If Uber predicts arrival after 1:15 p.m., keep the museum visit shorter rather than cutting the London Eye buffer.
One-hour lunch near the British Museum
Use the British Museum Pizzeria or Great Court Restaurant for minimum walking, or one of the nearby choices listed below. Buckingham Palace and the separate Horse Guards stop make the former 11:30 lunch impossible.
Hard finish: settle the bill and be ready for British Museum entry by 2:10 p.m.
Focused British Museum visit
Complete security and ask the information desk for a compact, lift-friendly route to the highest-priority galleries. Do not attempt the entire museum.
- Use lifts and seated rest points where available.
- Begin returning toward the Great Court by 3:15 p.m.
- Leave the galleries by 3:25 p.m. to protect the London Eye buffer.
British Museum to the National Gallery
Recommended Uber: enter The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DN and ask for the closest legal drop-off to the Sainsbury Wing entrance.
Tube alternative:
- Walk from Great Russell Street to Tottenham Court Road station.
- Take the Northern line southbound via Charing Cross.
- Ride two stops to Charing Cross.
- Exit toward Trafalgar Square and follow signs to the National Gallery.
- This option includes station corridors and a longer walk; use Uber if mobility or time is a concern.
Optional National Gallery highlights
Ask staff for a compact highlights route and use lifts between levels. This is optional because the corrected Buckingham Palace ceremony and separate Horse Guards stop reduce the afternoon window.
London Eye protection: if the ceremony, transfer, lunch or British Museum runs late, skip this stop and travel directly toward County Hall.
London Eye transfer decision
Default safe choice: go directly from the British Museum or National Gallery to the London Eye. Enter London Eye, Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7PB in Uber.
Heritage Place option: return there only if Uber shows you can reach it, take a brief restroom/reset stop, leave again, and still reach County Hall no later than 5:30 p.m. Because the complete Heritage Place address is unavailable, the live app times are the authority.
Prepare London Eye tickets before departure
Open the confirmed Fast Track London Eye tickets and check whether they require third-party redemption before reaching the entrance. Do not delay the ride for a nonessential stop.
Uber to the London Eye
- Enter London Eye, Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7PB.
- Add 15 minutes to the live estimate for pickup, central-London traffic and the final legal drop-off.
- Choose a departure time that keeps the displayed arrival no later than 5:30 p.m..
- Ask the driver for the closest legal drop-off to County Hall / the London Eye entrance.
- If the app predicts arrival after 5:40 p.m., leave immediately and do not add another stop.
London Eye arrival and ticket preparation
Move to the Fast Track entrance, make the QR codes available and follow any redemption instructions printed on the booking. Toilets are available in the London Eye ticket office.
Official timing rule: the 6:00 p.m. ticket time is when the attraction expects you to join the queue. Staff may not permit entry to the queue before that slot.
London Eye Fast Track ticket — join the Fast Track queue
Join the Fast Track lane at 6:00 p.m. Keep both QR codes open and ready for scanning.
- Official guidance estimates approximately 5–10 minutes of queuing for Fast Track on less-busy days.
- Fast Track is shorter than the Standard queue, but peak-period waits can still be longer.
- The rotation itself takes approximately 30 minutes.
Estimated London Eye finish, dinner or return
With Fast Track, a typical completion may fall around 6:35–6:50 p.m.; a busy period can still push the finish later. After exiting, choose a nearby dinner or request Uber to Heritage Place using its complete address.
1:10 p.m. lunch choices
All four choices can fit the protected hour after Buckingham Palace and the separate Horse Guards photo stop. Confirm availability while traveling from Horse Guards.
British Museum Pizzeria
Inside the museum and open from 11:00 a.m. No outdoor transfer is required.
PizzaExpress Coptic Street
Very close to the museum; its weekday lunch offer currently begins at 11:30 a.m.
Museum Tavern
Opposite the museum at 49 Great Russell Street. Check the menu and seating time on arrival.
Great Court Restaurant
Inside the museum and open for lunch from 11:30 a.m.; advance booking is recommended.

Wednesday planning references
The Household Division’s official July 2026 schedule lists a Buckingham Palace Guard Change at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, with the Band of the Household Cavalry. Its movement schedule places the Old Guard departure from St James’s Palace at 10:43 a.m., the New Guard departure from Wellington Barracks at 10:57 a.m., and the Buckingham Palace ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Horse Guards is a separate mounted Life Guard location; two mounted sentries normally guard the Whitehall entrance from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The British Museum lists daily opening from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The National Gallery lists free general admission and daily opening. The London Eye lists 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m. opening on July 29, 2026, states that the ticket time is the queue-entry time, and identifies a rotation as approximately 30 minutes.

Fixed-reservation rule: if Uber’s displayed arrival would miss a cutoff, remove the next sightseeing stop—never remove the Eiffel or Eurostar arrival buffer. Monday: if you are not inside Concorde station by 2:30 p.m., skip the Arc and Uber directly to the exact Eiffel host meeting address.
Transportation instructions — Uber, walking and Métro
The only planned Métro leg is Line 1 from Concorde to Charles de Gaulle–Étoile. Check live RATP service immediately before entering; if Line 1 is disrupted, station walking is too demanding, or you have not entered Concorde station by 2:30 p.m., use Uber directly to the Eiffel host meeting point. All luggage and fixed-deadline transfers remain Uber trips.
| When | Enter this destination | Exact instruction |
|---|---|---|
| Monday morning | 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, 75018 Paris | Uber directly to the saved address. The numbered Montmartre card gives the exact Rue du Mont-Cenis, Place du Tertre, Rue Saint-Éleuthère and Rue Azaïs walking loop. |
| Stop 2 — 1:10 p.m. | Palais Garnier, Place de l’Opéra, 75009 Paris | Return to 1 Rue Saint-Rustique, then request Uber at 1:10 p.m. Leave the Opéra photo stop by about 1:45 p.m. |
| Opéra to Louvre | Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Place du Carrousel | Uber directly to the small arch, then follow the numbered out-and-back walk into Cour Napoléon for the Pyramid. Skip Place Vendôme. |
| Louvre to Concorde | Hôtel de la Marine, 2 Place de la Concorde | Uber to the north side, then use marked crossings to Concorde Métro Access 6 at Rue Royale. |
| Concorde to Arc de Triomphe | Métro Line 1 | Access 6 → M1 direction La Défense → 4 stops → Charles de Gaulle–Étoile → Sortie 1 Champs-Élysées. |
| Arc de Triomphe to Eiffel booking | The exact meeting address printed on the private voucher | Request Uber by about 2:55 p.m. Do not take Line 6 or detour to Trocadéro. Arrive by approximately 3:20–3:30 p.m. or earlier if required by the voucher. |
| Eiffel Tower exit to dinner | Restaurant’s complete street address | Request Uber from the pickup point identified by Eiffel staff. |
| Dinner to cruise | Bateaux Parisiens, Port de la Bourdonnais, 75007 Paris | Because the restaurant address is unknown, use Uber rather than an assumed walking route. Allow 20–30 minutes for boarding. |
| Cruise to hotel | Hotel’s complete street address | Request Uber before leaving the pier area and use the pickup point shown in the app. |
| Tuesday hotel to Little Africa | Marché Dejean, Rue Dejean, 75018 Paris | Request Uber at 11:30 a.m. and ask for the closest legal drop-off to Rue Dejean. Follow the numbered Goutte d’Or walking loop. |
| Goutte d’Or to museum | 222 rue de l’Université, 75007 Paris | Open Uber by 12:45 p.m. and request the car no later than 12:50 p.m. Use the reduced-mobility museum entrance with a lift. |
| Museum to hotel | Hotel’s complete street address | Open Uber at 2:05 p.m., leave the museum by 2:15 p.m. and use the 222 rue de l’Université pickup point. Target hotel arrival between 2:45 and 3:05 p.m. |
| Hotel to Eurostar | Paris Gare du Nord, 18 rue de Dunkerque, 75010 Paris | Request Uber at 3:35–3:40 p.m., leave by 3:50 p.m. and target station arrival at 4:30–4:45 p.m. Inside, follow UK-flag signs to Hall 2 and use the lifts opposite platforms 9 and 10. |
| St Pancras to Heritage Place | Heritage Place’s complete address | Use the accessible car pickup/set-down area on Pancras Road. Request Uber only after you are approaching the pickup area. |
| Heritage Place to Camden | Jam venue’s complete street address | Uber door-to-door. Do not enter only “Camden.” |
| Camden return | Heritage Place’s complete address | Check Uber 10–15 minutes before leaving and use a well-lit pickup point shown in the app. |
Best rule: follow a numbered walk only while it remains comfortable and obvious. If the route is uphill, crowded, poorly marked, or taking longer than expected, stop at a safe curbside location and request Uber.
Transportation balance
| Travel segment | Best method | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel to Montmartre | Uber | Uses the upper-hill address and avoids the main Sacré-Cœur staircase. |
| At Montmartre | Short numbered walk | Links Rue Saint-Rustique, Place du Tertre and Sacré-Cœur without descending the hill. |
| Montmartre to Opéra | Uber | Avoids a difficult downhill walk and an unnecessary Métro connection. |
| Opéra to Louvre to Concorde | Uber + short Louvre walk + Uber | Keeps the Pyramid photo while skipping Place Vendôme and limiting walking. |
| Concorde to Arc de Triomphe | Métro Line 1 | Direct, no transfer, 4 stops. |
| Arc de Triomphe to Eiffel meeting point | Uber | Skips Trocadéro and protects the fixed check-in. |
| Eiffel area to dinner, cruise and hotel | Uber | The restaurant and hotel addresses are not specified, so no unverified walking route is assumed. |
| Tuesday Paris transfers | Uber | Time-sensitive and luggage-related. |
| London transfers | Uber | Uses exact destinations and limits extra walking. |

Timing test: is the plan balanced?
Yes, but it is now a streamlined route: Stop 2 begins at 1:10 p.m.; leave Opéra by about 1:45 p.m., leave the Louvre by about 2:15 p.m., enter Concorde station by 2:30 p.m., and request Uber from the Arc by about 2:55 p.m. There is no planned seated lunch before the Eiffel appointment. Place Vendôme, Trocadéro, Grand Palais, Petit Palais, and Invalides are omitted. If you miss the 2:30 p.m. Concorde cutoff, skip the Arc and Uber directly to the Eiffel host meeting point.
Tuesday fits, but every cutoff matters: the 11:30 a.m. route includes Goutte d’Or, a shortened walking loop, takeaway lunch and a focused Musée du quai Branly visit. Request the museum Uber by 12:50 p.m., leave the museum by 2:15 p.m. and target the hotel by 2:45–3:05 p.m. Leaving the hotel by 3:50 p.m. targets Gare du Nord at 4:30–4:45 p.m., approximately 87–102 minutes before the 6:12 p.m. departure.
Hard deadlines
- Monday — request Uber to the exact Eiffel meeting point by about 2:55 p.m.; skip the Arc if Concorde is running late.
- Tuesday — start Black Paris at 11:30 a.m., request the museum Uber by 12:50 p.m. and leave the museum by 2:15 p.m.
- Tuesday — target the hotel by 2:45–3:05 p.m.; shorten the museum if Uber predicts a hotel arrival after 3:10 p.m.
- Tuesday — request Uber to Gare du Nord by 3:40 p.m., leave the hotel by 3:50 p.m. and target station arrival by 4:45 p.m.
- Eurostar — working departure is 6:12 p.m.; use the exact gate-closing deadline printed on the changed ticket.
Planning notes and official references
Sacré-Cœur is open daily 6:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m., with free admission and an official advisory of approximately 10–15 minutes’ waiting during peak daytime hours. The Eiffel Tower requires mandatory security screening, prohibits large luggage, and may restrict summit access during severe weather or peak operations. Musée du quai Branly is normally closed Mondays, opens Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., charges €14 full admission, and prohibits suitcases and bulky backpacks. Bateaux Parisiens lists a one-hour sightseeing cruise with audio commentary; current online prices and departure availability should be confirmed at booking. RATP states that only Métro Line 14 is fully accessible without assistance; Line 1 stations may involve stairs and long corridors. Check live RATP traffic before the planned Métro leg. The Musée du quai Branly recommends 222 rue de l’Université for visitors with reduced mobility. Sacré-Cœur provides elevator access from 35 rue du Chevalier de la Barre. Eurostar identifies lifts opposite platforms 9 and 10 for reaching its Gare du Nord departure area, and an accessible St Pancras Uber pickup area is available on Pancras Road.
